Morph! exhibition was held in Melbourne, Australia on April 2012. Morph is also a name for a series of sculptures. A joint exhibition with Emma Rönnholm took place in Galleri Sinne, Helsinki, September 2011. We were working under the theme of encounters with animals in a urban space, especially concentrating on the animals of Helsinki.
The video draws a story about a mental dilemma, the protagonist is trying to escape by adopting the roles and forms of different animals. After several failures she has to accept her own limitations in order to be able to continue her journey.

This started as a playful thinking how to use an animal character in a artwork for a Ev.-Luth. church. A lamb as a symbol of the Christ is probably only possible option. If you place a fish or a pigeon into a church people take it as an insult. Even this work raised up some complaints.
New showroom for contemporary arts is holding it’s grand opening on Saturday May 26th, 2012, from 7 pm to 11pm.
